Brenda's story
Brenda before diet changes
Brenda is a 12 year old Poodle/Tibetan Terrier mix. When we first found you online Brenda was 42 lbs and overweight by about 8 lbs. Brenda had a golf ball growth on the bottom of her neck about 9 months previous to this. While arranging for surgery, the following was discovered in the blood test:
Alk Phosphatase - 777 - VERY HIGH.
Platelet - 457 170-400 Slightly High
Monocytes - 984 8% Slightly High
Everything else was within normal range. Surgery was called off because of this high ALKP number. However,
over the last 4 months, the growth pushed its way to the outside of her skin, was dark purple (probably filled with blood), dried out like a big scab and to the vets and my amazement, fell off in the normal course of healing! It is totally fine at the spot now, and this was before I even started using your nutritional approach.
I was told by the vet to give her Hills L/D Hepatic dog food and Milk Thistle herb which the vet says is good for the liver. I wasn't sure if this was the best diet for her or not.
She had always been an active dog but her energy was declining. I wanted to do anything I could to help my best friend live a long, happy and healthy life.
I found your website and everything you said made a lot of sense. Brenda has now been on your program for probably 2-3 months. I am happy to report that all is working! She has so much of her energy back. We recently started going on walks again. I think I missed that the most of all.

Everything is coming together for her. All the new activity is re-strengthening her muscles which had weakened. She can jump up on the couch again all by herself. With a mischievous grin on her face, she shows off by slapping her paws down on the cushion a few times. . . just like she used to do. She is so much happier and playful.
A neighbor who hasn't seen Brenda in a few months was amazed at her change for the better. It is like turning back the clock a number of years.
I don't know who is happier, Brenda or me. Attached is a pic I took last week after she returned from the groomer.

Rick and Cindy, I am so glad I found your website. Everything is working just like you explained it would when we spoke a few months ago. Your ongoing support has been phenomenal. Thank you for all your help and have a Happy Holiday Season!
